Minor Gold is the Australian-Canadian musical partnership of Tracy McNeil and Dan Parsons, two songwriters whose stories began on opposite sides of the Pacific and found common ground in Australia.

Since coming together, the duo have followed a path guided less by genre than by a shared devotion to great songs, memorable melodies and the thrill of seeing where the road might lead. Drawing from folk, country and classic pop traditions, Minor Gold create music filled with warmth, movement and a deep sense of place.

Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2023, introducing a partnership that felt both fresh and familiar. With Way To The Sun (2025), they expanded the frame, capturing the spirit of travel, changing landscapes and the moments of clarity that seem to arrive somewhere between departure and destination.

Across countless miles, festival stages, listening rooms and late-night drives, Minor Gold have continued to build a body of work that values connection over spectacle and curiosity over certainty. Their songs leave room to wander, inviting listeners to find themselves somewhere inside the journey.

Now dividing their time between Australia and North America, McNeil and Parsons are at work on their third album, continuing a creative partnership between two songwriters whose stories began on opposite sides of the Pacific and continue somewhere between home and the horizon.
